Winter Storm, Georges Bank

Fishermen working on deck during a winter storm at night on Georges Bank. The net is dragged on the ocean floor and hauled back every three hours. The men can be on deck for as short as two hours and as long as forty hours, cleaning fish, mending nets and hauling back. Commercial fishing is the most dangerous occupation in the U.S. N1017806-16.
